Simon Langelier, based in Lausanne, Switzerland, brings extensive senior executive expertise to the International Green Gold Council. As President of Philip Morris Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EEMA) from 2002 to 2005, he oversaw 87 countries, including those of the former Soviet Union, the African continent, and the Middle East, leading a team of 8,500 employees and managing annual revenues of $6.9 billion. His leadership was instrumental in executing successful strategies and negotiations in key markets such as Russia, Ukraine, South Africa, Iraq, Algeria, Libya, Nigeria, and Senegal.
